You're not exactly visiting a farm or a zoo, but there are a reasonable number and variety of animals for you to meet & greet on our property, & here they are in no particular order;
There's our dogs; Rex, a German Shepherd, born in 2007, just one big teddy bear. Not a malicious bone in his body.

Billy (Slater) our Whippet, a very friendly and tremendously affectionate young man, born in 2006.
Our cats; Butch (Cassidy), the black & white fellow & big wheel on the property, saunters around, does exactly what he wants, goes where he pleases and keeps everyone else in their rightful place on the pecking order. Sundance (Kid), he’s ginger, has only 2 things on his mind, food, and, when is the next meal due. Etta (Pace), she’s white, usually indoors all day to stop her ears getting sun burnt, but she tends to rule the roast in her own quite way.
There's our Cockatoo, Cockie we call him, because that’s what everyone else calls him & why swim against the tide, he will talk to you, doesn’t bite, loves people to pay attention to him. He’s probably the centre of attraction too.

We’ve got 2 Alpaca’s; Tiramisu, he’s chocolate colored & one smart dude, always comes to see what’s going on, brave & very forward. Knickers is the other one with him & who follows Tiramisu around most of the time. They live with our Sheep, Ashleigh, Cuddles, Curly, Shirley and Horse. They may or may not come to see you, depends how they feel at the time. Horse is the biggest one & Cuddles the smallest.
Chook’s, we’ve got plenty. The 6 Black ones are Australopes, hatched in 2006. The 6 Orange ones are a cross bread , excellent layers. Hatched in August 2009, & there were 6 new chickens, hatched 26th Dec 2009, 2 yellow and 4 black.

Our Peacocks, 3 males & 2 females, you’ll meet them when you’re in the garden.
Bee’s, there are 5 hives on the property.
Koala’s, they don’t live here permanently, but we recognize the same ones that come through on their way too and from somewhere else.

Then there’s a mass of wild animals that come and go, especially the birds.
So we’re pretty lucky really, we have a very interesting and varied collection here at Codrington Gardens.
